Piraeus is the main port of Athens, but at the same time one of the oldest train stations. The Athenian subway is one of the first lines in Europe, built in 1869. Piraeus was the first yard of this line...a yard with lot of interesting and unique places in and around it.
The ''ΠΕΙΡΑΙΑΣ'' (PIRAEUS) book is a photographic documentation of this yard from the point of view of writers and photographers, who have explored it from the late 90s until now.
